******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.14 dated 15.03.2019 registered for offences punishable under Sections 420 of Indian Penal Code and 24 of Immigration Act, at Police Station Sadar, Pathankot, District Pathankot. Heard.

Learned State counsel on instructions from HC Rattan Lal submits that the investigating officer has verified that parties have compromised the matter.

In view of submission of learned State counsel but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed. Petitioner is directed to surrender before the police and join investigation within two weeks. In the event of his arrest being required, he shall be released on interim bail on his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting Officer, subject to the following terms:- JITENDER KUMAR 2019.09.06 15:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-23251 of 2019 -2- (i) that the petitioner shall make himself available for interrogation by the police as and when required; (ii) that the petitioner shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the accusation against him so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer;

(iii) that the petitioner shall not leave India without the prior permission of the Court.

(iv) that the petitioner will seek regular bail on the presentation of challan in Court.
