Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the impugned order dated 10.03.2025 passed by respondent No.3, whereby the application filed by the wife of the petitioner for releasing him on parole for some time, has been declined.

In para 3 of the reply dated 01.09.2025 by way of affidavit of Superintendent, District Jail, Rohtak, it has been stated that the petitioner was granted release of 4 weeks parole on 08.11.2002, however, he absconded and was arrested after 19 years, 3 months and 18 months in FIR No.18 dated 08.01.2003 under Sections 8/9 of HGCP Act, P.S. Civil Lines, Rohtak, wherein he was convicted for 3 months and his custody would now start from 25.03.2022 in the present case.

As per provision of Section 6(3) of Haryana Good Conduct (Temporary Release) Act, 2022, he has to complete 5 years of imprisonment before being entitled for grant of regular parole. MOHIT 2025.09.18 16:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Insofar as his medical condition is concerned, it is normal as he can sit himself after surgery and does not need a wheel chair. Further that, Jail Medical Officer monitoring his condition, shall ensure to send him to specialist doctors of PGIMS, Rohtak as and when required, regarding which, medical report dated 01.09.2025 has been appended as Annexure R-2. 5.
