-.- JAISHREE THAKUR J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking a direction for proper investigation and an enquiry to be held on a complaint filed on 29.02.2020.

Learned counsel for the petitioners herein would contend that there are several similar cases pending against the named accused persons and despite this information having been supplied to the police, no action is being taken on their complaint.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State on instructions from SI Mangat Ram would submit that in fact an FIR No.194 dated 21.09.2020 under Sections 406, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC has been registered at Police Station Division III, Jalandhar.
