/ +1 .2' As per the report received from the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, the matter could not be amicably settled between the parties. The report of the Mediator has also been received and perused by this Court. An interaction has been made with the petitioner as well as the detenue, Ms. Khushleen Kaur, by this Court. Ms. Khushleen Kaur has now attained the age of majority. She has expressed her unwillingness to accompany the petitioner, who is her mother, and has stated that she wishes to reside with respondent No. 4.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition at this stage, with liberty to avail appropriate remedies, if so desired.

The detenue, who was directed to be kept at Ashiana Centre, Chandigarh, is hereby ordered to be released. She may accompany respondent No. 4 or his family members, as per her wishes. 4.
