(ORAL) Present petition has been filed for seeking grant of compassionate appointment on the ground that father of the petitioner, namely, Sh. Ajaib Singh son of Sh. Mange Ram, died while in service and the petitioner is entitled for the grant ex-gratia appointment. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the relief, which is being claimed in the present writ petition, petitioner has already filed a representation dated 19.07.2020 (Annexure P-6) and thereafter, a reminder was also given on 23.11.2020 (Annexure P-7), but so far no order has been passed by the respondents on the pleas raised by the petitioner for the grant of ex-gratia appointment. CWP-13279-2021 -2Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide the said representation by passing an appropriate speaking order.

Mr. Sharad Aggarwal, Assistant Advocate General, Haryana, who has joined the proceedings through video conference, keeping in view the service of advance copy of petition, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and raises no objection with regard to prayer of the petitioner for deciding the representation dated 19.07.2020 (Annexure P-6) by respondent No.2 in a time bound manner by passing an appropriate speaking order.
In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner in representation dated 19.07.2020 (Annexure P-6), respondent No.2 is directed to decide the representation dated 19.07.2020 (Annexure P-6) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Present writ petition stands disposed of.
