RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK, J Feeling aggrieved against the alleged ineffective and slow investigation at the hands of the investigating agency, petitioner has approached this court by way of instant petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal procedure, seeking transfer of investigation to some independent investigating agency.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner at considerable length and after careful perusal of the record of the case, Senior Superintendent of Police, Barnala-respondent no.2 is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner, raised vide her representation dated 26.12.2014 (Annexure P-4) and take an appropriate action thereon, strictly in accordance with law. Respondent no.2 shall ensure an effective and expeditious investigation in the matter. With the above said observations made and directions issued, the present petition stands disposed of.
