This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 108 dated 04.08.2014 under Section 21 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Sadar district Kapurthala.

Learned counsel for the State (on instructions from ASI Jaswant Singh, who is present in court) submits that pursuant to order dated March 13, 2015, petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, order dated March 13, 2015 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
