By way of filing the present petition petitioner Iqbal Singh sought issuance of direction to official respondents No. 1 to 8 for protection of life and liberty of petitioner and his labourers, truck drivers etc. stating that despite F.I.R. No. 0073 dated 11.5.2019 registered at Police Station Jaitu, District Faridkot, the private respondents were still extending the threats to the petitioner. A perusal of the petition goes to show that mainly the petitioner had sought protection during procurement season. That season is now over, therefore, the present petition has become infructuous and is disposed of accordingly. (H.S.
