***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) This petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail to the petitioner in a case FIR No.154 dated 22.04.2016 under Sections 409, 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC registered at Police Station Indri, District Karnal.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is incarcerated since 13.10.2017 and the case is triable by Magistrate. Admittedly, charges have been framed.

Learned State counsel has opposed the prayer for bail. Heard.

Keeping in view the fact that the offence is triable by Magistrate, period of his incarceration and trial may take long time to conclude, no useful purpose would be served by detaining the petitioner during pendency of the trial, I deem it appropriate to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be enlarged on bail to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Karnal.
