HARPREET SINGH BRAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and promote the petitioner as Engineer-in-Chief in Punjab State Power Corporation Limited prior to his retirement, along with all consequential financial benefits interest.

After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition with better particulars.
