By way of filing this petition, petitioners seek necessary protection of their lives and personal liberty in view of the fact that they have not solemnized their marriage so far and are living in a live-in relationship and are under eminent threat at the hands of respondents No.4 to 9.

In the present case, on 01.05.2025, following order was passed:- "Present:

Ms. Kusum Raj, Advocate, for Mr. Talim Hussain, Advocate for the petitioners -.- 1.

Present petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking issuance of direction to the official respondents to protect their life and liberty from the hands of private respondents. 2.

Notice of motion.

On advance notice, Mr. Kanwar Sanjiv Kumar, AAG, Haryana, puts an appearance on behalf of the respondent/State. 4.

List again on 05.05.2025.

Respondent No.3 - Station House Officer, Feroepur Jhirka, is directed to verify the credentials of both petitioners. In doing so, the concerned officer shall also record the statements of the parties involved, to ascertain how petitioner No.1 - Amanpreet Kaur, a resident of District Gurdaspur (Punjab), came into contact with petitioner No.2 - Altap Raz, a resident of Mewat (Nuh). Today, learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Dharmender, informs the Court that petitioner No.1 - Amanpreet Kaur, has come back to her parental house and presently, she is staying with her parents.

Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks withdrawal of present petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
