-.- JAISHREE THAKUR J. (ORAL) The petitioner herein is seeking appointment to the post of Male Constable (General Duty) having applied under Advertisement No.3/2018 dated 16.04.2018.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would contend that the petitioner had applied under the General Category. It is contended that the petitioner has necessary qualification and the marks, to be offered appointment to him.

Pursuant to the notice of motion having been issued, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State would submit that the respondent-Commission has re-examined the documents of the petitioner with regard to his eligibility and marks for socio-economic criteria and on re-consideration, name of the petitioner now stands recommended for appointment to the post of Male Constable (General Duty) under General Category. Copy of the letter dated 15.09.2022 addressed by the Secretary (Legal), Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Panchkula to the Advocate General, Haryana produced in Court is taken on record, reflecting the PANKAJ KUMAR 2022.09.19 17:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

In view of the fact that the petitioner has been found eligible and the necessary recommendation for appointment to the post of Male Constable (General Duty) under General Category has been made, nothing survives for consideration in the instant writ petition. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. However, it is directed that in case the petitioner fulfills all eligibility conditions, appointment letter be issued to him forthwith.
