Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.173 dated 14.12.2015 registered at PS B. Division, Distt.Amritsar City under Sections 419, 420, 465, 466, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC, on behalf of accused Gagandeep Singh.

In the investigation name of the petitioner has surfaced in committing fraud with the complainant-Sri Ram Finance Company alongwith co-accused official Varinder Singh in disbursing loans based on forged documents for four wheelers whereas those were two wheelers.

It was contended that Finance Company,after thorough investigation has named only co-accused Varinder Singh as involved in the loan transaction based on fake documents with co-accused Amritpal and Jagdeep, with no allegations against the present petitioner, RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2016.03.02 15:10 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.

CRM-M 6230/2016 however, the police has unnecessarily shown the complicity of the petitioner without examining the fact that the petitioner had no role in sanctioning of any loan.

Upon notice, learned State counsel assisted by ASI Narinder Singh has produced police file. On examination of the same it is found that petitioner has appended his signatures certifying that all the documents submitted with the application form for purchase of Innova Car are verified and found to be correct. It is thus submitted that against said loan factually TVS Scooter has been purchased. It is further submitted that such other fake loan cases have been detected. Keeping in view the nature and gravity of offence, no case for grant of anticipatory bail is made out.

Dismissed.
