Learned State counsel, on instructions from S.I. Shyam Sunder, who is present in court, submits that out of forty one witnesses cited by the prosecution, thirty one have been examined and three are left to be examined. Rest of the witnesses have been given up. According to him, trial is likely to culminate soon. In view of above, no ground is made out for enlarging the petitioner on bail at this stage. Disposed of. Petitioner shall, however, be at liberty to file afresh in case trial does not conclude within a period of four months. This will also be subject to condition that accused do not delay the proceedings in any manner.
