Notice of motion.

On the asking of court, Ms. Ishneet Kaur, AAG Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondent(s). Petitioner, who is working as Panchayat Secretary, has impugned order dated 01.03.2019 passed by respondent no. 2 whereby he has been transferred from Malout District Sri Muktsar Sahib to Rupnagar, District Rupnagar. According to him, transfer is in violation of the Policy, Annexure P-3. Petitioner being a patient of polio, ought not to have been transferred at such a distant place without seeking his option in terms of the Policy.

Petition is disposed of with the direction that respondent no. 2 may examine the grievance of the petitioner and pass a fresh order within two months.

Till then status-quo be maintained.
