******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 157 dated 05.07.2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379-B, 411 of Indian Penal Code at Police Station Dera Bassi, District SAS Nagar (Mohali).

Heard.

Notice of motion.

On asking of the court, Mr. C.L.Pawar, Sr. D.A.G., Punjab, who is present in the Court accepts notice and submits that intimation by Registry informing of fixation of the petition has already been received and record of the case is available with him.

Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner was apprehended with the help of CCTV footage, wherein his identity as snatcher of gold chain was established. Snatched gold chain of complainant was also recovered from his possession.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
