(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in a case arising from FIR no.26 dated 11.04.2017 registered under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and Section 15 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 at Police Station Sadar Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib.

Pursuant to order dated 13.11.2018, Mr. Manjit Singh Dhesi, Senior Superintendent of Police, Sri Muktsar Sahib, is present in person. He submits that he has recently joined as SSP, Sri Muktsar Sahib. Impugned FIR is prior to his posting at Sri Muktsar Sahib. In view of above explanation, Mr. Manjit Singh Dhesi, Senior Superintendent of Police, Sri Muktsar Sahib, is discharged. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be allowed to withdraw this petition.
