ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for the contemnors submits that per his instructions, an allotment letter dated 04.09.2020 has been issued to the petitioner in terms of order dated 10.01.2020 passed by this Court in CWP No.6213 of 2017.

In view thereof, contempt proceedings are rendered infructuous as compliance of orders dated 12.09.2019 and 10.01.2020 has been made. Learned counsel for the contemnors submits that inadvertent delay in passing the order was totally unintentional and he regrets the same on behalf of the contemnors.

In the premise, the contempt proceedings are dropped and petition is disposed of accordingly.

It is however, made clear that in case the petitioner is not accorded the benefit of allotment letter dated 04.09.2020, contemnors would be liable for consequential proceedings for misleading the Court apart from revival of the contempt proceedings.
