Mr. Saransh Sabharwal, Advocate for the respondents. ***** MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU, J Present civil revision petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 15 (5) of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1949 for setting aside order dated 11.02.2020 (P-5) passed by learned Rent Controller, Chandigarh, whereby the petitioner is directed to pay the rent amounting to Rs.3,24,250/- from 01.09.2017 to 28.02.2020 (provisional assessment) on the basis of probaility. At the outset, learned counsel for the respondents has pointed out that against the impugned order dated 11.02.2020 (P-5) passed by learned Rent Controller regarding the assessment of provisional rent, statutory remedy of appeal is provided under the East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1949 and reliance is placed on the judgments in cases Virat Devgan Vs. Sardar Singh (CR No.90 of 2016, decided on 03.04.2018); and Ajay Partap Singh Vs. Gurdial Singh and others CR No.3290 of 2014, decided on 13.05.2015).
