After arguing at length, learned counsel for the parties have amicably settled the dispute. The Insurance company has agreed to pay the enhanced amount of compensation as awarded by the Tribunal vide award dated 09.04.2004, which is enhanced from `30,000/- to `45,000/-. A consent order is passed accordingly. The compensation amount is enhanced by `15,000/- over and above the amount of compensation already awarded by the Tribunal. The appellant/claimant shall also be entitled to interest @ 7% per annum on enhanced amount of compensation from the date of filing of the appeal till date of payment.
