Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is for issuance of directions to respondents to conduct fair investigation in FIR No.191 dated 22.10.2021, registered under Sections 302, 307, 323, 506, 201, 148, 149 IPC read with Sections 25/29/30 of the Arms Act, at Police Station Civil Lines, District Bathinda, and to arrest the accused Baljinder Singh @ Billa son of Suba Singh resident of Village Bhokhra, District Bathinda and further to present the challan under Section 173 Cr.P.C.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, confines his prayer for deciding representation dated 25.11.2023 (Annexure P-2). He submits that at this stage, petitioner would be satisfied, if the said representation is decided within a time bound frame.

Mr. Rajesh Sehgal, Addl. A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and has no objection to the innocuous prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.

Without going into the merits of the case at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, to look into the grievance of the petitioner and decide the representation dated 25.11.2023 (Annexure P-2), expeditiously submitted by the petitioner, preferably within a period of 01 month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
