(ORAL) Instant petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for directing respondents No.1 to 5 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and their family members. Further prayer has been made for a direction to respondents No.1 to 5 not to unnecessarily harass the petitioners and their family members at the instance of respondents No.6 to 11.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the record.

Apparently, dispute appears to be between husband and wife and other relations. Respondent No.6 is the husband of the petitioner. Respondents No.7 and 8 are the brothers of respondent No.6 and RAVINDER SINGH 2015.03.11 16:05 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

-2CRM-M-7626 of 2015 brothers-in-law (Jeth) of the petitioner. Respondent No.9 is the motherin-law of the petitioner whereas respondents No.10 and 11 are father and mother of the petitioner. Application/representation to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Sri Muktsar Sahib through registered post was moved on 04.03.2015. It appears that this representation might not have reached the quarter concerned, therefore, present petition is pre-mature. In view of above, present petition is dismissed with liberty to file fresh one after some reasonable time, in case no action is taken on the representation by the competent authority.
