This is a petition that has been filed for quashing of FIR No.104 dated 06.07.2017 under Sections 498-A, 406, 34 and 506 IPC registered at Women Police Station, Rohtak.

Pursuant to notice of motion issued, reply by way of affidavit of Sushila, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Women), Rohtak has been filed in which it has been stated that the matter has been investigated thoroughly and it has been found that the matter stands compromised. In the reply, it has further been stated that respondent No.2 has filed an affidavit wherein she has submitted that she has received an amount of `23 lakhs as permanent alimony and has withdrawn all the allegations made against the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that a cancellation report has been prepared on 20.02.2019 and the same will be filed in Court after obtaining necessary approvals. 4.
