R.P. NAGRATH, J. (ORAL) This petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioner for grant of regular bail in FIR No. 171 dated 14.07.2014 registered under Sections 324 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) (Section 326 IPC was added later on) at Police Station Shahkot, Jalandher City.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned State counsel and have gone through the paper-book quite carefully. On instructions from HC Paramjit Singh, learned State counsel submits that after completion of investigation, challan has already been presented before the trial Court and charges have been framed and even the statement of injured has also been recorded. Petitioner is in custody since 25.07.2014. The case is triable by the Court of Magistrate and it will take long time in conclusion of trial.

In view of the above and without expressing any opinion on the merits of case, the instant petition is allowed and the petitioner be admitted to bail on furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court.
