Mr.Sandeep Sharma, Advocate for respondent No.2 ***** SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA, J (ORAL) The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.30 dated 01.04.2016 under Section 323, 406, 498-A, 506, 325, 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Women Police Station Karnal, District Karnal, and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-9).
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a compromise has already been arrived at between the parties which has been duly verified by the learned JMIC, Karnal.
The divorce petition filed by the respondent No.2 has also been decreed uncontested by the petitioner as a consequence of compromise arrived at between the parties.

CRM-M-25794-2023 -2- 2023:PHHC:078420 Keeping in view the principals as laid down Gian Singh Versus State of Punjab and another. 2012(4) RCR (Criminal) 543 and & State of Madhya Pradesh Vs. Laxmi Narayan and others, 2019(5) SCC 688, this Court deems it appropriate to quash the proceedings arising out the FIR No.30 dated 01.04.2016 under Section 323, 406, 498-A, 506, 325, 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Women Police Station Karnal, District Karnal. The proceedings initiated for declaring the petitioner as proclaimed offender are also stands quashed.
The present petition is allowed accordingly.
