The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of orders dated 28.10.2022 and 19.125.2019 passed by this Court in CWP-24049-2019 titled as 'Dr. Subrata Ghosh and others Vs. The Union of India and others'.

Learned counsel for the petitioners very fairly contends that the respondents filed Letters Patent Appeal i.e. LPA-1173-2022 against the order dated 28.10.2022 passed in CWP-24049-2019, which was dismissed by the Division Bench of this Court in terms of CWP-15972-2023 titled as 'Dr. Subrata Ghosh and others Vs. The Union of India and others'. He further contends that certain candidates filed SLP(C) No.29506 of 2024 titled as 'Ritu Garg and others Vs. Board of Governors BOG and VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2025.10.18 12:09 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP-1465-2023 (O&M) -2others', wherein the contempt proceedings in COCP-4617-2024 and COCP4758-2024 before this Court have been stayed, vide order dated 20.01.2025. 4.

In view of the above, the present contempt petition is dismissed as not pressed at this stage with liberty to the petitioners to avail remedy as is available to them in accordance with law, including the revival of the present contempt petition, after the decision of aforesaid SLP. 5.
