**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J The instant petition is for quashing of FIR No. 50 dated 27.4.2016 registered under Sections 406, 498-A, 120-B IPC, Police Station (Women) Patiala, District Patiala (Annexure P-1) and all the consequent proceedings arising out of the same.

Counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner is abroad and he also informed that anticipatory bail had been allowed to him and there was a condition that he would not leave the country. On the previous hearing to ascertain the factual aspects the petitioner was directed to file an affidavit indicating whether he was in India or abroad but affidavit has not been filed. Thereafter the costs were imposed and those were deposited but the affidavit has still not been filed.
