***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner Dalbir Singh, who had instituted a complaint under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act against respondent No.4Sukhwinder Singh, has approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to arrest respondent No.4, who has been declared a proclaimed offender for the second time in complaint bearing No.COMA6056 dated 15.9.2015. Another direction has been sought so as to register a case/FIR under Section 174-A IPC.

The State has filed its reply, as per which FIR No.233 dated 27.9.2021 at Police Station Division No.3, Ludhiana under Section 174-A IPC has been registered against respondent No.4. It is further stated therein PANKAJ KAKKAR 2021.12.20 18:50 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CRM-M-29536-2021 (O&M) that raids are being conducted continuously so as to arrest respondent No.4 but he could not be found and that he is still absconding. It has been deposed in the reply that as and when the police gets any clue about whereabouts of respondents No.4, he shall be arrested immediately. In view of the aforesaid reply, from which it is evident that FIR No.233 dated 27.9.2021 has been registered and efforts are being made to arrest respondent No.4, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction that the official respondents shall continue with their efforts for arresting respondent No.4.
