Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards the merits of the assertions made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, District Sangrur, to get the representation dated 31.3.2023 (Annexure P-6) examined qua the limited extent of the alleged threat perception of the petitioner pertaining to her life and liberty in accordance with law. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps warranted under law be taken thereupon. As far as the remaining prayers of the petitioner are MOHAN SINGH 2023.05.15 15:44 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRWP-4679-2023 (O&M) ( 2 ) 2023:PHHC:069567 concerned, it shall be open to the petitioner to have recourse to alternate efficacious remedies as may be available in accordance with law.
