On being confronted with judgments dated 07.08.2025 passed in Ravi Kumar (supra) and dated 21.01.2025 passed in a bunch of petitions including CWP-35184-2019 titled as 'Ram Mehar and Anr. Vs. State of Punjab and Ors.', learned State counsel submits that competent authority would re-consider claim of petitioners in terms of afore-cited judgments.

In the wake of statements of both sides, the petitions stand disposed of. The respondent shall reconsider claim of the petitioners in the light of afore-cited judgments and without being influenced by impugned orders. Let the needful be done within three months. 5.
