AMOL RATTAN SINGH, J (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is about 65 years of age and has already put in about five months of actual custody even as per the custody certificate filed by learned State counsel in court today. Though it is seen that there are seven other FIRs shown to be registered against him all under similar provisions and all dated 25.8.2017, learned State counsel submits that the petitioner was a conspirator in the riots that took place after the conviction of Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh.
Without making any further comment on the actual involvement or non-involvement of the petitioner in the occurrence in question, he having already remained in custody for about five months, with his age admitted to be about 65 years even
CRM-M-4884 of 2018 #2# as per the instructions received by the learned State counsel from ASI Darshan Singh, the petition is allowed. The petitioner shall be admitted to bail upon his furnishing adequate bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court.
