Mr. Guarav Garg Dhuriwala, Sr. D.A.G., Punjab. **** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) Petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction for restoration of security/protection provided to him and his family members. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the security has been withdrawn vide order dated 26.05.2022 thereby reducing the existing security to one armed person. Learned State counsel on instructions from SI Bhajan Singh submits that the security has been withdrawn only for a limited purpose in order to maintain law and order situation arising out of Ghallughara in Darbar Sahib.

CWP-13413-2022 Learned State counsel further submits that the security of the petitioner shall be restored w.e.f. 07.06.2022. In view of statement made by learned State counsel, this writ petition is disposed of. However the petitioner shall be provided one more security guard in addition to the security personnel he is already having till 07.06.2022.
