(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for quashing FIR No.563 dated 09.10.2015 registered under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003 at Police Station Anti Power Theft, Jalandhar, District Jalandhar along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

Learned counsel for respondent No.2 admits that petitioner has made payment of entire dues along with penalty amount and compounding fee as per policy of the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited and now nothing is due against the petitioner. Heard.

Considering this aspect of the matter, FIR No.563 dated 09.10.2015 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom RAVINDER SINGH 2018.10.04 17:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document is ordered to be quashed inasmuch as continuation of trial after

-2CRM-M-6616 of 2016 (O&M) payment of compounding fee by the petitioner is hit by the doctrine of "double jeopardy".
