Mr. Naveen Sharma, Advocate for the petitioners. ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for quashing of FIR No.156 dated 09.10.2015 registered under Sections 406, 506, 34 IPC at Police Station Doraha, Police District Khanna, District Ludhiana and all other subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that two of the coaccused of the petitioner namely Adarsh Pal Bector and Rakesh Bector were discharged by the trial Court and the case of the petitioner is on similar footing and he has also moved an application for discharge before the trial Court which is pending for the last more than 01 year. Though the charges were framed on 28.08.2017 and the order of discharge was subsequently passed on 11.04.2018, I deem it appropriate to direct the trial Court to decide the application for discharge moved by the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of 02 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

Disposed of.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to file afresh petition, if so required.
