Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect their life and liberty and to provide adequate security to protect them from respondents No.4 and 5, who are mother and brother of petitioner No.1. The petitioners, who are present in Court today, further contend that they being major have solemnized marriage with their own consent in accordance with law. The private respondents are not accepting the marriage of the petitioners and are extending threats to them. The educational certificates of petitioner No.1 and 2 (Annexure P-1 and Annexure P-2), marriage photographs (Annexure P-3) and marriage certificate (Annexure P-4) have been placed on record. At this stage, Mr. R.P.S.Bara, Advocate has appeared and filed power of attorney on behalf of respondents No.

4 and 5. Without going into the validity of the marriage, the present petition is disposed of with the directions to the petitioners to contact respondents No.2 and 3, who, after their satisfaction that the petitioners are actually facing threat, shall take necessary steps to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from private respondents No.4 and 5, as per law.

However, it is made clear that this order, in no way, will affect any other proceedings pending or to be filed against the petitioners etc., which are to be dealt with independently as per law. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that private respondents are roaming outside the Court and they way laid the petitioners and there is apprehension of harm to the petitioners. In view of above, Incharge Police Post situated in this Court is directed to provide security to the petitioners from this Court enabling them to contact respondents No.2 and 3, to whom direction has already been given to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners.
