The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.62 dated 18.04.2020 registered under Section 15 of NDPS Act at Police Station City1 Malerkotla, District Sangrur. 2.

By an order dated 20.08.2020, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner and directed him to join investigation. 3.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State on instructions from SI Baljit Singh submits that petitioner has joined investigation.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 5.

In view of the fact that the petitioner has joined investigation, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 20.08.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
