HARPREET SINGH BRAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., read with Article 227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of direction to learned trial Court to proceed with the complaint (Annexure P-1).

In compliance of the order passed by this Court on 08.08.2019, status report by way of affidavit of Lalit Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kalayat, District Kaithal, has been filed in the Court today, which is taken on record.

Learned State counsel has referred to the status report and submits that the order passed by learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Kaithal, has been duly complied with and FIR No.42 has been registered on 17.02.2018 under Section 174-A IPC at Police Station Kalayat, District Kaithal. Further the production warrants of Rahul Sood and Aparna Puri were duly executed and both are confined in Tihar Jail, Delhi in another case No.ECIR/GNZO/07/2022 dated 22.06.2022, ED MOHD YAKUB 2025.04.30 17:50 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh

CRM-M-22764-2019 Gurugram. On 28.11.2024, one of the accused Rahul Sood who had appeared before the Court concerned, has been released on bail and a fresh production warrants for the appearance of Aparna Puri have been issued as she is currently confined in Tihar Jail, Delhi. Further efforts are being made to arrest the remaining 03 accused persons, who have been declared proclaimed persons.

ASI Balwan Singh, who is present in the Court has assured that concrete efforts would be made to submit the escapists to the process of law and within a period of 04 weeks, the provisions of Section 83 Cr.P.C. would be invoked against the said 03 accused persons and compliance report in this regard will be filed before the jurisdictional Court. Further the property of Rahul Sood and Aparna Puri already stood attached in the case registered by the Enforcement Directorate.

In view of the status report filed by respondent - State of Haryana, no further directions are required to be passed. Disposed of accordingly.

A copy of this order be sent to learned trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate for the purpose of calling the status report from the jurisdictional police authorities with regard to taking action against the remaining 03 accused persons under Section 83 of Cr.P.C.
