Main Case The Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association and Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana High Court have decided "No Work day" for today i.e., 23.04.2025 on account of sudden demise of Sh. Bhupinder Singh Rathore, oldest member of the Bar Council.

The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondent No.4, and to take appropriate action on the application/representation dated 14.04.2025 (Annexure P-3). In view of the above, without going into the merits of case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2Supinderintendent of Police, Palwal, to decide representation dated 14.04.2025 (Annexure P-3) within three days from today and a speaking order so passed will be supplied to the petitioners in compliance to the notification AVIN KUMAR 2025.04.24 09:35 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this judgment/order.
