NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) The present petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.15 dated 11.03.2020 under Section 61 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914, registered at Police Station Kotfatta, District Bathinda.

Issue notice of motion.

Mr.Hittan Nehra, Addl.A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State.

Heard.

Recovery in the present case is 20 bottles of illicit liquor. The same was recovered from the house of the petitioner. However, no other material to show that the same was distilled by the petitioner has been recovered.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed with a direction to the petitioner to join the investigation and on his doing so, he be MEENU 2020.08.19 15:47 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh

CRM-M-23382-2020 -2released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and surety to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
