The present revision petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, assails the order dated 04.03.2022 (Annexure P-6), whereby the application (Annexure P-5) filed by the petitioner-plaintiff seeking permission to withdraw the suit has been dismissed.

On the case being called out on its turn, no one has appeared to press the revision petition. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the main suit from which the present revision petition emanates, stands dismissed as withdrawn vide order dated 12.01.2024, which is available on the e-Courts Services web portal. Order dated 12.01.2024 passed by the trial Court, reads as thus:- "Plaintiff Balbir Singh has suffered a statement that matter in issue in this case and subject matter of case is same in the other suit CS/891/20.08.2022 titled as Gurudwara Shri Gobindsar Vs Ashish Ghai which is also pending in this Hon'ble Court for today. He further stated that the plaintiff may kindly be allowed to withdraw this suit with permission to get metter in issue in above said case decided in suit titled as Gurudwara Shri Gobindsar Vs Ashish Ghai. The plaintiff may be allowed to withdraw the suit without any adverse effect on civil suit CS/891/20.08.2022 titled as Gurudwara Shri Gobindsar Vs Ashish Ghai. In view of statement suffered by plaintiff, present suit stands dismissed as withdrawn. File be consigned to record room."

In view of above, the main suit having been withdrawn has rendered the instant revision petition infructuous. No purpose would be served to keep the same pending in the absence of any representation on behalf of the petitioner.
