*** HARSH BUNGER, J. (Oral) The instant Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Certiorari for setting aside order dated 27.03.2025 (Annexure P-3) passed by the Regional Passport Officer, Jalandhar.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition at this stage with liberty to the petitioner to avail his remedy/ies of appeal under Section 11 of the Passports Act, 1967, in accordance with law.

Ordered accordingly.

In case, the petitioner submits an appeal under Section 11of the Passports Act, 1967, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered and decided by the Appellate Authority within a period of four weeks thereafter.
