NARESH KUMAR SANGHI, J.(ORAL) Prayer in this petition is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, Sheru Kumar @ Sheru, who has been booked for having committed the offence punishable under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in a case arising out of FIR No.239, dated 03.06.2013, registered at Police Station, Tripuri Town, Patiala.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Jarnail Singh of Police Station, Tripuri Town, Patiala, submits that in compliance of the order, dated 06.01.2015, the affidavit of the Superintendent of Police has been received but it could not be filed for want of paucity of time.
