Mr. Abhishek Dhull, Advocate for the appellants. *** NIDHI GUPTA, J (Oral) This is the claimants-appellants' appeal seeking enhancement of total compensation of Rs.15,80,284/- along with interest @ 7.5% per annum awarded by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Yamuna Nagar at Jagadhri, in MACP-181-2019.

The only ground on which the learned counsel for the appellants assails the Award is that the deceased was a tailor and was earning Rs.14,000/- per month. However, the Tribunal has taken income of the deceased to be Rs.8827/- per month as per the minimum wages prescribed by the Haryana Government for unskilled workers at the relevant time in May, 2019 when the accident in question had occurred. However, learned counsel is unable to support this contention in any manner as there is no record to prove that the deceased was a tailor and was earning more than the income taken by the Tribunal. The other contention raised by learned counsel is that interest is on lower side. However, I find no error and no ground to interfere in the Award passed by the Ld. Tribunal.

Dismissed.
