Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of writ in the nature of habeas corpus to produce and hand over the custody of the detenue namely, Anjali (wife of the petitioner) who has allegedly been detained by respondent Nos.4 to 6 after she had visited her paternal home.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition.
