Through this writ petition, the petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to 4 to ensure that the Sewerage Drain is connected with the main drain. 2.
On 02.08.2021, the following order was passed:- "The hearing of the case was held through video conferencing on account of restricted functioning of the Courts. Mr. S.N.Roy, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Urban Local Bodies, Haryana, has attended the hearing through video conferencing and explained the difficulty in taking the drain in straight line in view of the private land. Civil Writ Petition No. 13377 of 2021 (O&M) be taken through a different alignment.
The learned counsel for the petitioner prays for a short accommodation to get complete instructions. Adjourned to 04.08.2021".

Mr. Amit Gupta, Advocate, counsel representing the petitioner, submits that the petitioner has no objection if the drain, depicted in the site plan with green colour, is laid. He apprehends that while constructing the drain, some damage may be caused to the house of the petitioner. 4.
Mr. Samarth Sagar, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, on instructions from Mr. Raman Kumar, Executive Engineer, Municipal Corporation, Ambala, assures the Court that all possible precautions shall be taken while laying the covered drain.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the writ petition is disposed of with a request to the Municipal Corporation, Ambala, to lay a covered drain in accordance with the alignment depicted in the site plan with green colour.

The miscellaneous application(s) pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of .
