1. The petitioners have approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect their lives and liberty as well as members of their family, as they apprehends threat to the same at the hands of private respondents No.6 to 8.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards the merits of the assertions made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana (Rural), District Ludhiana, to get the representation dated 26.04.2023 (Annexure P-5) examined qua the limited extent of the alleged MOHAN SINGH 2023.05.17 16:57 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
