**** SANDEEP MOUDGIL , J.(ORAL) The instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.27 dated 24.03.2024, under Sections 61/1/14/ of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 registered at Police Station Majitha, District Amritsar. This Court vide order dated 24.05.2024 while issuing notice of motion, granted the concession of interim bail to the petitioners, subject to their joining the investigation.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the order dated 24.05.2024, the petitioner has joined the investigation. SANGEETA 2024.08.01 13:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this judgment/order
CRM-M-26647-2024 Learned State counsel does not controvert the said fact and further submits that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. In view of the above, the order dated 24.05.2024 made absolute.
