Mr. Shubham Budania, Advocate, for Union of India. **** Learned counsel for the respondent-Union of India points out that transfer petition (C) Nos. 1356-1360 of 2020 filed by the Union of India before the Supreme Court have been considered and decided along with the main petition i.e. Madras Bar Association vs. Union of India and another, 2021(7) SCC 369, on 27.11.2020, wherein the Supreme Court has decided the main issue raised by the petitioner in the present petition and therefore, nothing further survives for adjudication in the petition. In the light of the orders passed by the Supreme Court in Madras Bar Association vs. Union of India and another (supra), dated 27.11.
2020, and on account of the fact that nobody is appearing on behalf of the petitioner for the last two dates to controvert the aforesaid position, the petition filed by the petitioner stands disposed of.
