Through this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and appoint petitioner as PTI teacher being more meritorious than respondent No.3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.2 - Director Public Instructions (SE), Punjab, is directed to look into legal notice (Annexure P-13) of the petitioner in a time-bound manner.
