Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail on behalf of four petitioners, who are family members and neighbours of the complainant, in case FIR No.29 dated 5.2.2016 under Sections 323, 452, 506, 1438,149 IPC, PS Jodhewal, Ludhiana. On account of a scratch on the car of the accused party by a delivery van used by the complainant, an altercation appears to have erupted leading to inflicting injuries on the complainant by the accused party.

It is contended that except the offence under Section 452 IPC, rest of the offences are bailable in nature. Be that as it may, counsel for the petitioners submits that his clients are ready for an amicable settlement with the complainant. CRM-M 6868/2016 averse for effecting an amicable settlement between the neighbours. At the time of hearing today,learned counsel for the petitioners submits that parties are neighbours and have amicably settled their dispute vide written compromise dated 18.3.2016. Learned counsel for the complainant and learned State counsel on instructions acknowledge the fact of compromise. In view of the above,interim bail granted vide order dated 26.2.2016 is made absolute.
